Ever since I was young, I’ve loved the excitement, creativity, and responsibility that come with the role of hostess. What started as tea parties evolved into dinner parties where setting the scene became my calling. No detail was too small to capture my imagination. When dinner parties were no longer enough, I dove head first into the wedding and event world.
I started in this industry as an intern in 2006, and I’ve been hooked on planning and design ever since. After ten years of working my up in the top high-end coordination firms in Dallas, I decided to embark on my own journey and launchedBrooks and Barnes Weddings and Events in 2016. I’ve always subscribed to the old adage of “Love what you do and do what you love.”
After every late night text, menu tasting, ribbon tying, invitation stuffing, wedding party wrangling, and reception revealing I do, I feel honored to say that I still LOVE what I do after more than150 events.I consider it a privilege and a gift to be a part of your life during this exciting time. My goal is to cultivate an in-depth relationship with you, understanding your desires and wishes while delivering a vision that exceeds your dreams.
I put an emphasis on curating a vendor team that’s the perfect fit for you and your event so we can go through the planning and execution process with ease, trust, and have a little fun along the way.
